What kind of water should I use for my triops?

Hey, I haven’t kept triops in a while and we used to buy distilled water but I was wondering if we could get around that. We have guppies so we have plenty of tap water conditioner if that will work and we also have brita filter pitchers and our fridge has a filtered water dispenser in the door. Will any of these work? It’s not a huge deal if they won’t, I’m just hoping for an alternative to going to the store a bunch and BUYING water.
how do i chlorinate water in the way that you mean?

How to grow these triops?

Ok so I had an aquasaurs kit and I used half the bag of eggs & I still have the other half.
I HAVE DISTILLED WATER! I know that’s the water you need to use and I got it. I’m using a 1 gallon tank that I used to use for my Betta. He died so.I have a few questions:

1. I didn’t clean it out because he didn’t die in there, so do I still have to clean it out?

2. How much water conditioning do I use?

3. What temp. should the water be at?

4. How can I ensure the eggs will hatch?

5. How do I keep them alive if they do hatch?

6. How long do they live?

what other things do triops eat other than their triop food pellets?

hello i have about 10 triops and when we got the eggs the store didn’t put much food for me to feed them so that food is going to run out in no time.
I have a betta fish and i feed him betta pellets, would the triops eat those?
or what other food would they eat?

My fish won’t eat tropical flakes?

I have some neon tetras and guppies in my tank. Originally i only had betta food, wardley shrimp pellets, and custom triop food(i also have triops in the tank). The fish didn’t respond to any except for the triop food (which are pellets made of 40%protein and 10%fat). I decided to switch the food to tropical flakes to increase diet variety, but they don’t even touch the flakes. I even tried crushing the flakes like i did with the triop pellets, but still received no response. It’s like their only looking for the triop food.

Have they become picky eaters? How can i make them transition between the two food types?

Why are my Neon Tetra fish disappearing?

Yesterday one of my neon tetra’s died. I noticed this at dinner time but was too lazy to remove it so i left it in the tank. The next day in the afternoon i came home from school and decided to remove the dead neon tetra, but i couldn’t find the corpse. There is no trace of it whatsoever.

I have a 10 gallon tank with 3 neon tetras(originally 4 but one died as i stated above), 2 assorted guppies, 2 lyretail guppies, and 1 chinese algae eater. I also have some baby triops (not even half an inch long yet). I actually saw one of the triops eating the neon tetra, but theres no way he could’ve finished the whole corpse.

I’m thinking that my chinese algae eater is the culprit? Can someone enlighten me?

Anyhow, here’s a video of the triop trying to eat the dead neon tetra:
