i put the eggs in on Saturday and its Tuesday
there in a small container the temperature is 27
the lights been on ever since
-this is only for people who hatched triops and if they know about them
everything seems perfect why wont they hatch!!!!!!!!!
- the only thing ican see that is moving is there food aka infusoria
my triops eggs wont hatch vie done everything right
i originally bought a triassic triops kit and got everything set up..put the bottled nestle pure life water in the little hatchery it came with, put the ‘conditioner’ in. then the eggs once the water was warm enough. put a heat lamp i had over it to keep the water warm, it stayed at 75 degrees the whole time. i kept the light on 24 hrs to keep the water that temperature. the next day i saw some triops. the day after that i saw several more. so they hatched..but after a few days they all died. i ordered more eggs but theyre not the same spieces that came in the kit, these will be triops newberryi, and they dont come with condtioner, theyre just eggs. so what are some tips i can get that will help them hatch and thrive. i heard using distilled water sometimes works better? also putting a slice of carrot in the tank make them better somehow? haha. but what can i do as far as the water conditioner since i wont have any this time, or is it not a dire requirement. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you

I am getting triops eggs and I need to know how to hatch them exactly right so I can get all of them to hatch. What water do I use, what floor type? What organic food can I give them? How do I keep them from eating each other? Please tell me everything to care for them!
Please don’t just give me a website to read about triops.

I recently got a scholastic sea creatures kit (grow your own triops) from a friend. On Saturday I put them in water at 24 degrees C, at around 6:00ish pm. I had the warm lamp on and everything was going fine, but my brother turned off the lamp after a couple hours when I was gone somewhere, and lamp was turned back on and set back to right temperature couple hours later. (It’s been good since) It is now Tuesday, and I was just wondering when I should start feeding them. I read on the box to feed them 1/4 of 2 crushed up food pellets on the fourth day… so would that be counting Saturday or not… do I feed them today or tomorrow? I only have 2 triops that hatched since then… thanks in advance! -Cheesey
