I want triops and have a 55 gallon goldfish tank. Could I use the tank water instead of the distilled water? Also could I use goldfish food to feed them?

Are triops safe to eat?
Just incase we run out of food, I was thinking of raising and eating triops, I like to think they’d taste kinda like shrimps, is it safe?
