Could I use goldfish aquarium water for triops?

I want triops and have a 55 gallon goldfish tank. Could I use the tank water instead of the distilled water? Also could I use goldfish food to feed them?

Is this ok for my future Triops?

I have a 2.5 gallon tank ready , with a cave and water conditioned and aquarium salted water
Is this ok
Since this is a larger tank for them how long will they live?
Do they breed quick??
Breeding signs?
Anything else or tips
Can I feed them tropical flake when I run out of triop food

How to put mystery snail in a holding container..?

Hello, I currently have a 10 gallon tank with some sand and a few plants. The only inhabitant right now is a mystery snail (my Triops died so hes the only thing left)

I want to get African Dwarf Frogs, but in order to do this, I want to change my substrate from sand to eco-complete (so I can add more plants and theyll stay healthier)

The 10 gallon tank is the only tank I have, so where should I put the snail while I am cleaning the tank? I have small, containers that I can keep him in for the time being, like small glass containers and such.

But for heat, should I just keep a lamp over the container he is in? Or will the intense light harm the snail?

Why is my 10 gallon so hard to keep clear?

I have a 10 gallon tank that has basically absolutely nothing in it. Its inhabitants are
1. Mystery snail
2. 1 Triops Longicaudatus (which basically outputs the same ammount of waste as a 2 inch fish)
3. A java moss plant.
4. Sand which has NOT been an issue with my clarity before.
5. An aquarium safe rock.

For some reason, the water is extremely cloudy. I first thought it was my filter that was dirty. i changed the filter pads and cleaned the intake and everything. Water is still cloudy. I did a 50% water change, then another water change the next day. Still cloudy.

What is the problem here?

Easiest Aquarium Size to Maintain?

I personally own a 10 gallon tank, nothing special about it, I am still deciding what I really want to do with it. I currently have a mystery snail and some Triops cancriformis. I was considering purchasing another aquarium, something easier to maintain because believe it or not, my 10 gal (with 4 Triops and a snail) is hard to maintain, water quality spcifically.

I have heard mixed responses with “What tank size is easiest to maintain?”. Some say small tanks are simple to maintain cus there isnt alot in it, some say larger ones are easier because the tank can handle the bioload and the filters are more powerful (something like that).

In your opinion, which size tanks are easiest to maintain? I would say probably a 30 gallon.. which is what I might get.
