What type of plants would my triops eat?
A strange thing hatched in my Triops kit?
I bought this triops kit from a website, and weird things hatched in it. Only one of them appears to be a triops, and about 5 weird shrimp things hatched too. Are they shrimp? They’re actually kind of cute and they do cool flips, so I’m not upset about that packaging mistake. But there’s also this strange, creepy looking thing, that’s very small, white, and a bit translucent, but it’s still visible. I have no idea what it is. It has the body shape of an owl, and it has little black eyes on each side of it’s upper half. It also has what appears to be antlers, shaped like little Ys on its head, and the fan part of the Y is webbed. It doesn’t glide about the water like the others; it sort of hops about in the fishbowl. It kinda looks like a pokemon >:L What is it?
is there anything similar to triops?
see my brother got some triops for his birthday and they are really cool and i was just wondering if there is some kind of pet kinda similar to that. like i know that there is those sea monkeys but i dont like those they look ugly so if there is anything u can think of that would be great.
would a small heater be okay for Triops?
I know you need to keep the water kind of warm, but most of the instructions I’ve found say leave a lamp on 24 hours. Since I do plan to sleep at some point, I am wondering if a small heater would be okay, or would it make the water too warm.
what type of sand do i use for triops?
pretty self-explanatory, what kind will be good for them to lay eggs and not always be murky? i have a filter too and i dont want it sucked up, even though they dont need it i would like it on so its cleaner
please answer only if u know what triops are……and they need SAND, not gravel…i just need to know wat kind
