Mud for Triops? can i use it?
I have this little triop kit and it says it comes with sand
but idk what happened to the sand….and where i live there’s no sand
so i went outside and got some dirt and rocks and stuff that kinda felt like sand.
and im washing it now and it kinda looks like mud?
Is that ok for the triop fish? or do i need sand? Please answer.
Will my triops still hatch?!?
I just got a kit for my birthday ( I’m 13 ) and I followed the directions exactly. I then researched them some more and read that you can’t use tapp water, which I had already used! Will my trips die or fail to hatch, or will they be ok?

yesterday i got trassic triops dlx but the eggs are lttlle dots in a pot put thm in yesterdya nothing will thye hatch
A strange thing hatched in my Triops kit?
I bought this triops kit from a website, and weird things hatched in it. Only one of them appears to be a triops, and about 5 weird shrimp things hatched too. Are they shrimp? They’re actually kind of cute and they do cool flips, so I’m not upset about that packaging mistake. But there’s also this strange, creepy looking thing, that’s very small, white, and a bit translucent, but it’s still visible. I have no idea what it is. It has the body shape of an owl, and it has little black eyes on each side of it’s upper half. It also has what appears to be antlers, shaped like little Ys on its head, and the fan part of the Y is webbed. It doesn’t glide about the water like the others; it sort of hops about in the fishbowl. It kinda looks like a pokemon >:L What is it?
