I <3 pets a LOT. And all I'm worried about is them getting along… I was planning on having sugar gliders, a chinchilla or 2, triops, a pac-man frog, a dog, Madagascan Hissing Cockroaches, and Death's Head Giant Cave Cockroaches. Is there ANY way I can get these all to get along (i.e. not wake up and find one of them eaten)????

Triops and Sea Monkeys, the two popular instant pets, but which, in your opinion, is better. Personally, I think Triops, as they are get quite big and are amusing little pets, as well as living a fascinating life cycle.
Hi, I was browsing through the internet and came across the unique little crustacean called a Triops, and noticed you can buy kits online and hatch triops, thus having them as pets! they seem very unique and interesting! but i have a few questions about them:
1. are they easy to care for? i am not home alot of the time since i am a highschool student.
2. how long are their lifespans when kept in good conditions?
3. do they self-breed, or do i have to breed them? how can i breed them? do they eat their young? haha
4. Can i put them in a larger tank (mostly for looks)? or do they need to be in small areas? what size preferably?
5. what do they eat? what can i feed them?
6. do they need certain temperatures to hatch/live in? how can i manage this temp? I have a desk lamp that would work but how do i keep the temp regulated?
7. Do they EAT eachother? I have heard rumors about similar sized triops eating eachother, is this true?
ok so for my little brothers birthday my cousin got him one of those kits for a pet. kinda like the frogs thing watching the tadpoles turn into frogs. well this one is different the pets are called Triops. in the picture they look like little horseshoe crabs. and idk how to take care of them other than what the instructions say and all it says is how to set up the tank, and what to do with the eggs and basic stuff like that. plz help me!! and it would help to give some experiences on what to expect.
i want to get a pet for my sisters but i cant get a real pet. I would like a pet like sea monkeys but one that maybe they can have a little more interaction with. I need a pet that takes up little space is basically silent. Thanks for any suggestions. please no suggestions like: fish, sea monkeys, triops… etc…. thanks again
where i live i dont know if i could have a fish…. also she has wanted a pet for a while and i would help care for it…
