Are there any other pets like sea monkeys and triops?
I would like to have a pet kindof like sea monkeys and triops. Dont say fish. I mean one that you put the eggs in and watch them grow but they dont make you sad if they die like a dog or cat. A novelty pet as some people call them
The reason I said wont be sad when I die is becuase I love animals. They live short so i wont feel guilty for them dieing. I have 2 dogs, a cat, a rat, a snake, a hamster, and a bunch of fish. I love them all and i dont want them to die. I just dont want to get another pet that will make me go through an episode when It dies. I guess ill get a goldfish.
What other fresh water animals use diapause when water has dried up?
I know there are killifish, fairyshrimp, clam shrimp, and triops. Brine shrimp require salt and I am not looking for commercial names for anything. I just want to know if there are anymore. I’m thinking about making a tank full of “just add water” pets.
