A few questions about Triops.
1. How can I tell when they hatch and how big will they be? What color?
2. My Triops were put in to water while it was dark (around 7 PM) and won’t see sun for 12+ hours, is this bad? Should I have put them in water in the morning instead?
3. Is it OK to remove the detritus after they have hatched? (The dry crumbly plant stuff the eggs come in)
4. What is the best way to feed my Triops after the given food is gone?
5. How would I go about transferring to a new aquarium, or is that even possible with Triops?

Triops Question am I doing this right?
Hi, I got a Triops Hatching Kit and when I opened it I realized 2 bags. One of the bags contained something that looked like parsley (Detritus I believe) and the other contained little balls like fish food. I was not sure which one was the eggs so I put the flakes in there because I read up some stuff on the internet. The detritus is floating which concerned me as I figured it would sink to the bottom. Am I doing this correctly?
I have a question about Triops.?
My son got a triop kit and the directions dont explain whether the debris with the eggs should be seperated. On the other hand I dont see how it is possible to seperate because I wouldn’t know what the egg looks like. The eggs hatched but the debris is floating around the little clear tank.
