Pocket Science Discovery Tube

Pocket Science Discovery Tube

The curious kid who pops open this Discovery Tube will be amazed to find a mini science lab just waiting to get out! Once children have hunted around the house for the simple items needed, they’ll be off to performing cool experiments like making a volcano, plating a nail with copper, and exploring chemical reactions. It’s a great introduction to the basics of science, all in a pint-sized package.

My triops has a really weird red thing on its head?

I got a Smythsonian science kit that hatches triops, but only one hatched. It’s been nice and big and healthy, for about a month. But today I noticed something wicked weird; it has this giant blob of a red thing on its head! It almost looks like the shell has risen up and filled with blood or something. It’s still alive, but its just barely crawling across the floor of the tank. What the heck is it?? Does it mean its dying, or maybe does it relate to breeding or something?

i have a triops and want to know what other organism could live with them and its a shrimp that’s all i know !?

I’m doing it for my advance placement environmental science class all i know that its a shrimp and it’s not fresh water !!! OH and its clear its eyes are very close together they look like dots it swims but comes to eat on the surface and it has a little pink tail just at the tips !!!! :0
