11th day Triop
Phoenix The Triop (Day 9)
After a few days of static behaviour in the nursing chamber, I moved Phoenix into the main area. With cleaner water, sand and some rocks, she has a bit more to keep herself occupied with. Her features are much more pronounced and developed now. You can see a strong abdomen, it seems longer than I had anticipated and reminds me of a human spine. The three eyes are tiny, and I can’t really make out the distinctions between them. It is interesting to consider how she views the world, one naupliar eye and two compound eyes must make things appear dramatically different to how human eyes detect the world. I note there are small white appendages, visible at the lower end of the carapace; I am wondering if these are eggs? It would be incredible to think that in just nine days Phoenix is becoming a mother.
lone triop, fairy shrimp, daphnia and unkown species.
he has grown a bit bigger after hours. Also mentioning about how all this time the so called triop i said was happily swimming in the tank was actually a fairy shrimp. how smart of me.

my triop
there will be a part 2 now because i am growing another batch and hopefuly they will hatch this is my triop, she is 2 weeks old today she doesnt look big but she is named after my baby sis and my old triop, jasmine, she likes to do alot of tricks. I miss this little girl now she is dead :{ sorry for the bad quality. i made this film for my mum cause she has never seen my triop before so yeh i just made it for my mum nd u guys
