Ok so I got my pack of triops Thursday. 1/12/12 and they’ve been sitting their since then and I’m a little worried because in my house it gets cold so I made sure that they got a lot of light and heat but the thing is that the lamp heated the water up all the way to 90 degress f and now I’m worried if they’ll hatch I was able to drop the water temperature to 75-80 degrees but I’m still not sure if they’ll still hatch
i have a tank with little triops in, there is about 200 as far as i can tell. there is about 10 LTRS of water and i have been feeding them as often as recommended, the water is green with a layer of scum on the top. I know i need to change the water, but there is no way of me changing the water without getting rid of a load of triops in the process. They are way to small and i would end up throwing a load away. Shall i just leave it? and wait til they are bigger. Also they are about three weeks old and they are still abslutely tiny, they don’t seem to be growing, is this normal? also is it normal for there to be hundreds hatching out? I got them in the pack called “triops world” by interplay and i have only used half the pack of eggs.
i mean if u cant get bottled water whats the best wato make tap water safe for the little triops to hatch them or to make rain water clean
i have 2 baby triops(maybe more, but 3 swam to the bottom and i cant find them, they might be dead but sometimes i see 1 come up so i don’t know) what is the best way to raise them? and is swiming down to the bottom a habit? if there at the bottom r they hiding? They are both 1 day old. I want to save the Sea Monkey, so I was wondering how old they will be when the Triops will want to eat him. Also, I have never cared for a Sea Monkey, is there any way to save, and take care of it???

Yes, I do. Becuase they are 1 day old, and I didn’t know the Triops eggs, also had Sea Monkey eggs in there!
So far, he hasn’t eaten him!
