Hi I am getting some Triops from this catologe and i am getting then in a week or so and I need information on how to breed them. My betta breeding didn’t work so i disided to breed Triops! I know you might think that they are extinct but they aren’t! If you don’t believe me check out this website it is called MyTriops.com, at least I think what it is called?

Triops don’t need help breeding. At about 2 weeks or 3/4″ the females will start showing yellow egg sacs on either sides of their carapaces. They will bury themselves in the sand and lay them. This is the easy part. The hard part, which isn’t so hard, is that you must remove the eggs and let them dry out completely. Afterwards, rehydrate them in conditioned water and they will hatch.
