How to I feed baby Triops?

Hello, I got some triops eggs off ebay, but there wasn’t any food or detritus or conditioner in the package. The triops have hatched for a day but I have nothing small enough that they can feed on.

Some websites have mentioned yeast but on the same page stated that they shouldn’t be feed until the third day after hatching. When exactly does their yolk supply run out and are able to feed on yeast?

My baby triops are the *size* of frozen brine shrimp, so I highly doubt they can eat them O.o

  1. NO to the yeast, the best thing for them to eat is live or frozen plankton that may be purchased at your local pet store!

  2. Just wait till the third day to feed them plus fasting can let them have more time to digest.

Feed them frozen brine shrimp or freeze-dried blood worms. You can get them at your local pet store. You just have to ask for them because they keep them in a freezer.
