I just got triops a few days ago, and i’ve never heard of untilled or uncorinated water, in the kit i got it sais to use spring water, so i did, and they are alive and healthy, but i can’t advise you enough, clean the water frequently, it gets VERY nasty

If you buy declorinater that also takes out heavy metal, it should be fine. It can actually be bad to used distilled water for aquatic animals, because it doesn’t have the nutrients in it that tap water dose.
