wow, i havent had triops in a long time.’
i think an airstone would be your best bet instead of plants since you cant be certain what plants come from where they came from.
an undergravel filter would cut down on tank cleaning later in their life cycle, triops start out real small, so an undergravel filter might suck them in and kill them, but when they get bigger i see no problem with it

If you used an under gravel filter you wouldn’t have to clean out the tank as often no, but every few weeks you would still have to change the water to keep them healthy.
I’m not 100% sure, but I think all water plants will be okay.
There hasn’t been alot reserch done about caring for Triops, so nobody really knows… yet.
You have to guess alot of the time.
