Just to let you know, I’ve always heard it pronounced “try-ops” opposed to “tree-ops” but either way, nice video. You’re well spoken and much of your information is correct. The Cancriforimis is actually the oldest of the triops species (in addition to being the largest). The problem with tap water is two-fold: Public water contains traces of chlorine and other chemicals and well water contains too high a concentration of minerals. Generally the softer the water the better. Drop a line!

i think i know an animal that COULD be unchanged since the time when nothing lived on earth… scientists THINK that megalodon or Charcarodon Megalodon could still be alive. The ancestor of the great white shark, this monster shark grew from 50 – 75 feet, its name Megalodon means big tooth, its teeth were the size of your hand or bigger, it was the biggest fish to live in the sea. (dont say the blue whale is its a mammal
) only like 1 – 5% of the ocean has been explored, so it could exist….

another thing to do would be to buy a water treatment instead of using poision plastic bottle water

boiling the water wouldn’t get rid of the chlorine which is why they don’t live in tap water to start it kills them yup someone had the good idea of starting them in my big tank but only use bottled water and then add more later so that’s what i will do if i can find them omg i don’t want the stupid kits!! i can buy sea monkeys by the millions but not those…

No, 7you should be alright- tap water is usually okay once their a few weeks old. If in doubt, boil it first then let it cool down.

Triops! I started growing a “batch” once but my roommate drank them late at night! It was an accident I think. Anyhow, I hope yours avoid(s) a similar fate.

790 to 630 million years ago the earth was totally froze and killed most of under water life which was all that lived at the time these are evolved creachers from that time piriod
i’m hopefully going to get them tonight and enough sand for my 30gl tank that i’m putting them in
i hope the tap water doesn’t kill them i’m waiting 2 weeks to put them in the big tank
i hope we both have good luck

you have to take out the packet i think… it killed another triop family casue they ate the bag and killed them you can thank them for your eyes and lungs and legs they aren’t dinosors they were 65 million years ago these are from 200+ million years ago it’s from a time before animals grew on land so tech we came from triops lol not monkeys
was that inteligent enough for you lol
